Technical terms explained clearly
From 3D elements to tracking: the key terms around websites, design and care – short and clear.
3
- 3D elements
- Graphics or objects that look three-dimensional and rotate or move – like the hands at the start of our home page. They make a strong first impression.
A

- Appointment booking
- Customers pick a free slot online themselves – the appointment goes straight into your calendar.
B
- Before/after slider
- Two images on top of each other – e.g. a bathroom before and after renovation, or the old and the new website. With a slider, visitors see the before on the left and the after on the right.
C
- Call to action
- A clear button or prompt such as “Enquire now” that shows visitors the next step.
F
- Function check
- Every month we check that pages, links and forms work properly.
G

I
- Integrations
- Connections to other tools directly in the website – e.g. appointment booking, newsletter or your calendar.

- A single page for a specific offer or campaign, e.g. for an ad – with one clear goal such as an enquiry.
- Layout adjustment
- Small changes to how texts, images and sections are arranged – without a completely new design.
- Location map
- A map (e.g. from Google Maps) directly on your website: your location is marked and customers can plan their route to you with one click.
M
- Mobile display
- The website adapts automatically to phone, tablet and computer and is easy to read everywhere.
- Monthly short report
- A short summary by email: what we changed and checked, and how your website is doing.
O
